When you sign up for a free matthandlers account online, you will receive a USA Shipping Address and a unique ID number code. Use this Address and ID code to shop online or ship any item(s) from the USA to Jamaica. This number code is called your Matthandlers ID or MID Number.

No, additional fees are not charge to become or remain a member of MΛTT Handlers Inc. Your account is 100% free, always.

When you shop online or send any item(s) using our US Shipping Address. Your packages are collect, tagged and from there shipped off to Jamaica.

When your package arrives in Jamaica you will receive an account notification that your shipment(s) are ready for pick up or delivery. 

After full payments are settled, your packages are shipped to the address provided on your account or retained at our main office for pickup. (The choice is yours)

Yes, simply go to our website and select the “Pricing & FAQ” tab, then click the sub-menu labeled Rates and Duties.  Once there, scroll down to our shipping estimator and input your package details.

Yes, you can track the status of your shipment(s) online in real time. Receive push notifications via email to see exactly what is happening. Never miss out!

If your item or packages total CIF value (Cost, Insurance and Freight) exceeds 50USD, then your shipment will become liable for applicable customs duties and taxes.

Certain items such as mobile phones and other commercially categorized goods will attract duties regardless of the total CIF value/price. (Even if item was gifted)

Packages shipped with 7 or more similar items (see section 8) are classified as “Commercial” and may be subject to customs duties and taxes regardless of CIF value, see description of commercial items.

CIF means “cost, insurance and freight”, see a more detailed description.
CIF formula = (Invoice value + Freight cost + Insurance)

No, we do not provide any form of refrigeration or temperature-controlled facility for e-commerce shipments. Please do not ship items requiring this form of handling, it will be terminated, destroyed or most liable for damages during shipment. All associated cost if any, will be charged to your account.

No, your items are stored free of charge  up to a period of 25 days after the Billed date (notice of invoice). However, packages stored beyond this period will incur storage fees of $200JMD per day per package.

You can ship just about anything! Small and large packages, barrels, pallets, boxes, home appliances, auto parts and some machinery.

Note: Oversized items may attract extra handing fees. Please contact us for additional details prior to shipping such item(s).

If goods remain unclaimed for more than 60 days, MΛTT Handlers Inc.reserves the right to destroy or dispose of all packages and its variable contents after due notice is given.

Yes, some items may require special consideration (Permits/Licenses) when importing to Jamaica. This applies to both e-commerce shoppers and commercial importers alike, see Customs simple description and list of restricted items.

Your shipment will be automatically flagged for disposal or returned to your supplier on request. This will be coordinated through our Customer Service Dept. at an additional cost to you. If no instructions are received within 7days, restricted items and its variable contents will be destroyed.

In some cases, you may discuss with the Jamaica Customs Agency about the possibility of obtaining a permit to allow the clearance of the item(s).

Merchants often ship parts of the same order from different warehouses at different times. This may result in you receiving two or more packages, even though you’ve only placed one order.

Packages are shipped from our USA facility to Jamaica three (3) times per week by Air and once (1) per week by Sea.

We accept all major Visa/Master debit or credit cards. Direct NCB Jamaica bank deposits and cash payments on location.

Notify us of the damages incurred, we will contact our USA representatives and launch an investigation into your case.
